Gauteng is urged to remain water-wise, despite IVRS stability

The Department of Water and Sanitation urges Gauteng water users to conserve water this spring, despite stable levels in the Integrated Vaal River System (IVRS). The IVRS is currently at 78.2%, down from 79.1% last week and significantly lower than the 93.5% at this time last year. The Vaal Dam, a vital part of the IVRS, is at 45.2%, a decrease from 46.3% last week.
