Gary Bettman on Amazon, the future of TV, and whether the NHL could return to Quebec City

Some Canadiens fans were surprised when the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins wasn’t televised on TSN, but instead was shown on Amazon Prime Video in English and RDS in French due to Amazon acquiring Canadian TV rights from Rogers for select Monday night NHL games for the next two seasons. This change comes as the NHL’s broadcasting agreement with Rogers is set to expire after the 2025-26 season, aligning with the end of the Prime deal.
