French prime minister again lashes out at US over Ukraine, says pause in aid is 'unbearable'

French Prime Minister François Bayrou criticized the U.S. pause on military aid to Ukraine as equivalent to abandoning Ukrainians and potentially allowing Russia to triumph, calling it “unbearable” and urging Ukraine to keep fighting for survival. Additionally, French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu denounced a Russian fighter jet’s dangerous behavior near a French drone in the eastern Mediterranean as deliberate, unprofessional, and unacceptable, escalating tensions between the two nations.
