Fraudsters swap QR codes at MP’s Khajuraho shops to redirect digital payments

Abid Ali, owner of a popular biryani shop, discovered that payments from 8-10 customers were being diverted to another account belonging to Chotu Tiwari due to a QR code issue, prompting a police report. A nearby petrol pump also reported a similar incident, leading to the detention of Tiwari, with two accomplices still at large. The police will investigate the extent of the fraud on Monday, as Tiwari is suspected of changing QR codes at multiple shops in the area.
