Shay Given apologizes for Holocaust remark

Former Premier League footballer Shay Given has apologized for using the term “Holocaust” to describe sacked Celtic manager Wilfried Nancy’s brief tenure at the club, acknowledging his ignorance and pledging to educate himself further. Given expressed remorse for the inappropriate language used on BBC’s Final Score show and announced he will donate his fee to the Holocaust Educational Trust.
