Sherrone Moore was fired as head coach at the University of Michigan and charged with third-degree felony home invasion and misdemeanor stalking following an alleged incident involving a staff member with whom he had an intimate relationship. After the firing, Moore reportedly entered the victim’s apartment, made threatening statements, and displayed knives, leading to police involvement. He has been issued a $25,000 bond with conditions, including no contact with the victim, and is undergoing mental health treatment. The university appointed Biff Poggi as interim coach as they prepare for the Citrus Bowl against Texas.
