Congress leader Varsha Gaikwad criticized former BJP MP Sujay Vikhe-Patil for ending free meal services in Shirdi, funded by Sai bhakts, calling him power-hungry and disrespectful to Saibaba devotees. Vikhe-Patil argued that the practice attracted beggars and suggested using the money for education instead. Gaikwad condemned his remarks, stating that those who fail to understand the value of free meals should not be considered cultured.
