Former Air Force pilot arrested for allegedly training Chinese military pilots

The Justice Department announced the arrest of former Air Force fighter pilot Gerald Brown, 65, for allegedly training Chinese military pilots without authorization. Brown, who returned from China where he had been since December 2023, is accused of conspiring to provide combat aircraft training to the Chinese Air Force. He previously negotiated a contract with a Chinese national linked to espionage and had a distinguished 24-year military career.
