Forerunner’s long game: As startups stall before IPO, all options are on the table

Thirteen years ago, Forerunner Ventures helped launch consumer startups like Warby Parker, Bonobos, and Glossier, none of which have gone through a traditional IPO process. Warby Parker went public via a special purpose acquisition vehicle, Bonobos was acquired by Walmart, and Glossier remains privately held, in line with other companies in their portfolio.
