Ford Recall for Brake Line Issues

Ford Motor is recalling 273,789 Lincoln Navigator and Ford Expedition vehicles due to a poorly installed front brake line that may lead to reduced brake function and increased crash risk, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The issue arises from a bent brake line potentially contacting the engine air cleaner outlet pipe, causing brake fluid leaks and longer stopping distances. Ford will inspect and replace affected components at no cost, with owner notifications being mailed on May 26, 2025.
