Ford is considering halting production of its best-selling electric F-150 Lightning truck due to declining demand, as reported by The Wall Street Journal. Production was previously reduced after a fire at a key aluminum supplier and significant financial losses in Ford’s electric vehicle division, totaling $3.6 billion this year. The company plans to shift focus towards developing smaller, more affordable EVs. Additionally, Honda’s CEO highlighted that recent changes in federal EV tax credits could delay overall electric vehicle growth in the U.S.
