The flow of oil from Russia to the Czech Republic is interrupted again

Oil deliveries from Russia to the Czech Republic via the Druhzba pipeline have been halted, with no clear reason provided by the state company operating the pipeline network. The Czech Republic has three months of reserves and recently completed a project to reduce dependence on Russian oil by doubling the capacity of the TAL pipeline. This interruption marks the second time in recent months that oil deliveries to the Czech Republic have been affected, as the country shifts away from reliance on Moscow following EU sanctions after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
