Florida man rescued after being trapped in mud for days

A Florida man, Andrew Giddens, 36, who went missing on Valentine’s Day, was rescued on Thursday after being trapped in mud for several days at a Vulcan Materials Company site. Giddens, who had been reported missing after his family expressed concerns over his mental health following a breakup, was found covered in mud and required extensive efforts to free him. He was airlifted to a trauma center in critical condition. Authorities are not pursuing trespassing charges due to his mental state.
