First image of headteacher allegedly assaulted by Joey Barton

Former footballer Joey Barton has been remanded in custody after being charged with assaulting 51-year-old Kevin Lynch at Huyton and Prescot Golf Club. Barton, 43, and his co-defendant Gary O’Grady, 50, are accused of causing grievous bodily harm during a heated discussion with Lynch, who is currently hospitalized in serious condition. The case is set to proceed to Liverpool Crown Court for a plea hearing on April 7, with O’Grady released on conditional bail.
