Firefighters make progress in battle against Mountain fire in Southern California

Firefighters made progress against the destructive Mountain fire in Ventura County, which burned over 20,000 acres and destroyed 134 structures, reaching 26% containment on Sunday. Evacuation orders remained in place for ten areas, with residents in eight more under warnings. Officials were monitoring weather changes as winds were expected to pick up again, though not as strong as when the fire started, with over 130 structures destroyed and 46 damaged.
