Fired FBI agents sue FBI director and DOJ for retaliation.

A group of former FBI agents filed a federal civil lawsuit in Washington seeking reinstatement after being fired in the Trump administration for allegedly trying to prevent a riot following George Floyd’s death. They claim they were unlawfully terminated for kneeling during a tense situation in 2020. The agents argue they were not adequately equipped for crowd control and were unfairly judged based on their perceived political affiliations. The lawsuit accuses FBI Director Kash Patel of partisan bias and follows similar legal challenges by other fired agents.
