Fire Erupts at Russian Military Airfield Just 20 Miles From Moscow

A fire broke out at the Chkalovsky military airfield in the Moscow region, with no injuries reported as employees evacuated in time. The cause of the fire is suspected to be a short circuit in the administrative building, although the military significance of the airfield has made it a target for Ukrainian drone attacks in the past. Recent drone strikes have also targeted Russian military and energy infrastructure, including the largest oil depot terminal in Russian-occupied Crimea.
