The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has decided not to take action against Gianni Infantino for potentially breaching political neutrality by aligning FIFA with U.S. President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace. The IOC stated the matter is closed, asserting that FIFA’s development efforts in Gaza align with its role as an international sports federation. Infantino signed an agreement at a Trump-hosted event that could allocate $75 million to Gaza. IOC President Kirsty Coventry indicated an investigation into neutrality breaches was initially considered, but the IOC membership meeting in Milan will proceed without mandatory attendance from Infantino.
