A federal agent was injured during an anti-U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) protest in Downtown Los Angeles on Friday, with the LAPD confirming the incident. The protest, part of a student walkout, involved demonstrators blocking traffic and engaging in vandalism, including at the Federal Building. While the injured agent was taken to the hospital, the identity of the agency involved remains unclear. At least four suspects were detained for vandalism during a previous protest earlier this month.
