A 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Greece, with tremors felt across Crete, Rhodes, and as far as Cyprus, Egypt, Syria, and Israel. In response, Greek authorities issued a temporary tsunami warning, advising residents to move away from the coast. Although no serious property damage has been reported, seismologist Efthymis Lekkas stated that the tremors are an isolated incident with no significant aftershocks or connections to recent seismic events in Santorini or Turkey.
