FBI’s Most Wanted Murder Suspect to Be Extradited from Mexico

The Trump administration collaborated with Mexico to arrest Alejandro Rosales Castillo, 27, who is on the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted” list for the 2016 murder of his former girlfriend, Truc Quan “Sandy” Ly Le, in North Carolina. The arrest occurred amid heightened tensions regarding U.S. military action against Mexican drug cartels. Castillo, a U.S. citizen, was apprehended in Mexico and will be extradited to face charges. In the past year, five individuals from the FBI’s list have been captured, including a senior MS-13 leader.
