A British former soldier, James Scott Rhys Anderson, has been captured by Russian forces while fighting for Ukraine in Kursk, as confirmed by his family. Despite their pleas, the 22-year-old joined up eight months ago, believing it was the right thing to do. In a video released by his captors, Anderson described his decision to fight in Ukraine as a ‘stupid idea’ after losing his job and joining the International Legion.
