FAS to resume search for 10th club – local or foreign – to join Singapore Premier League

In December last year, the FAS invited interested parties to submit detailed proposals to participate in the current season. One club received in-principle approval but the SPL ultimately remained a nine-team competition as the shortlisted club’s due diligence process took longer than expected. Due to time constraints, the club has opted not to compete in the 2024/25 season of the SPL.
