As the baseball season progresses, it’s time to reassess player rankings from draft season. Players who should have been ranked higher include SS/OF Oneil Cruz, OF Pete Crow-Armstrong, 1B Pete Alonso, OF Wyatt Langford, 1B Tyler Soderstrom, RP Jeff Hoffman, and SP Hunter Greene, all showcasing impressive performances. Conversely, players like OF Yordan Álvarez and RPs Emmanuel Clase and Devin Williams have underperformed, raising concerns about their stats and roles within their teams, especially with injury histories and team dynamics affecting their play.
