In Baalbek, Lebanon, the Jawhari family mourns the destruction of their home by an Israeli airstrike, leaving behind shattered memories and twisted fragments of their once-vibrant life. The family, like many others, returned to check on their properties after the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, only to find widespread devastation and displacement of nearly 1.2 million people. Despite their determination to preserve their father’s legacy and memories, the pain of losing their home remains raw, with each fragment recovered calling them to gather around it and reflect on the life they once knew.
