Falcons Request to Interview Lions COO Mike Disner

The Atlanta Falcons have requested permission to interview Detroit Lions COO Mike Disner for their new president of football operations role. Disner, who became COO in May 2022, has played a key role in the Lions’ organizational strategy and player management, previously serving as vice president of football administration. In addition, former Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is also set to interview for the position and is considered a frontrunner. Disner’s extensive background includes experience with the Arizona Cardinals as well.
