Explosion reportedly caused by gas leak kills more than 50 people at coal mine in Iran

51 people have been killed in an explosion at an Iranian coal mine due to a methane gas leak in two blocks where nearly 70 people were working. Twenty individuals have been injured, and search and rescue operations are ongoing. This incident marks one of Iran’s deadliest work accidents in recent years.
