Ex-soldier testifies about stopping Paul Doyle’s car

A former soldier, Dan Barr, intervened during a Liverpool FC victory parade, stopping a driver, Paul Doyle, who injured 134 people. Doyle, 54, was sentenced to 21.5 years in prison for his actions. Barr, after suffering a head injury, described his instinct to help as nothing special, stating he simply did what others were trying to do. He managed to enter Doyle’s car and shifted the gear into park, preventing further harm.
