Former PSL coach Wedson Nyirenda believes Bafana Bafana has a strong chance of winning the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, following their bronze medal finish in the last edition. South Africa is in Group B with Angola, Zimbabwe, and Egypt, and Nyirenda praises the squad’s depth, particularly from Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns. He commends coach Hugo Broos for his successful tenure and names Morocco, Egypt, Angola, and DR Congo as other contenders. Bafana’s campaign begins against Angola on December 25.
