Capitol police witnessed Tarrio striking the protester’s phone and arm after she got close to him, leading to his arrest for simple assault. Tarrio, previously serving a 22-year sentence for seditious conspiracy, was granted clemency by President Trump along with others involved in the Capitol riot.
