This move comes shortly after the U.S. Department of Justice released new documents revealing alleged inappropriate interactions between Mountbatten-Windsor and Epstein, including invitations to parties involving young women. Prime Minister Keir Starmer has urged Mountbatten-Windsor to cooperate with investigations, which he has not yet done, while he continues to deny any wrongdoing. King Charles stripped him of royal titles last year following scrutiny over his friendship with Epstein and allegations from Virginia Giuffre regarding underage trafficking.
