Martín Demichelis has been appointed as the new coach of Mallorca, signing a contract until the end of the season with an option for an additional year. The former Argentina and Bayern Munich defender replaces Jagoba Arrasate. Demichelis previously coached Bayern’s under-19s and reserve teams, as well as leading River Plate to league success and managing Mexico’s Monterrey.
