Evanston hot dog shop inducted into Vienna Beef Hot Dog Hall of Fame – NBC Chicago

D&D Dogs and Finer Foods, a suburban hot dog stand established 51 years ago in Evanston, was inducted into the Vienna Beef Hot Dog Hall of Fame for being a neighborhood cornerstone that serves Vienna Beef Hot Dogs. The stand, originally opened by two brothers as a deli and grocery store, still operates as a family-run business near Northwestern University. The Vienna Beef Hot Dog Hall of Fame, recognizing longstanding operators, has only honored 154 establishments nationwide, including recent inductees like Red Hot Ranch’s 35th Street Red Hots and Luke’s of Lake Bluff.
