Burlington, Ont., student Evan Budz has developed an award-winning autonomous bionic sea turtle robot designed for ecological monitoring, utilizing AI to enhance the safety and cleanliness of underwater ecosystems. His innovative invention earned him first place among young scientists from 40 countries at a European Union contest, with a Calgary teen securing second place.
