Man in hospital after being pulled from flames in central London fire

Plumes of smoke were visible across central London as a building on Tottenham Street in Euston caught fire, requiring 40 firefighters to extinguish the blaze. One man was rescued and taken to the hospital, with the fire believed to have originated from a hairdresser’s or one of the flats above. Six fire engines responded to the incident, with most of the ground floor suffering damage.
