Eritrea: President Isaias Holds Talks with Special Chinese Delegation

President Isaias Afwerki met with China’s Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa, Ambassador Xue Bing, at Adi Halo to discuss bilateral relations, regional issues, and international developments, focusing on development programs outlined at the China-Africa Summit. Ambassador Xue reiterated China’s commitment to peace and stability in the region, aligning perspectives with Eritrea and offering cooperation in development and security domains. The meeting, attended by Eritrea’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and China’s Ambassador to Eritrea, follows a similar visit by Ambassador Xue Bing in April this year.
