The Prime Minister of New Zealand, Christopher Luxon, has decided not to disclose the Government’s stance on recognizing Palestine until Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters announces it at the UN next week. Although a final decision has not been made, there is the possibility of an in-principle decision being approved by Cabinet, with events at the UN potentially influencing the outcome.
