Emergency crews rescue child trapped in hole on Cape beach

Emergency responders in Harwich successfully rescued a child trapped in a three-foot deep hole on Brooks Road Beach on Monday evening. Firefighters and police officers worked together to dig out the child in 15 minutes using a protective tube for safety. No injuries were reported, and it is unclear if the child was supervised as per beach regulations requiring adult supervision for children under 12.
