Lachie Neale’s racehorse, Two Time Charlie, achieved a remarkable victory at Bunbury, winning a 1200m maiden race with a last-to-first performance. The three-year-old, trained by Stephen Miller and ridden by Jessica Gray, won by a nose and is considered a strong contender for future city races. Neale, who recently resigned from his co-captaincy of the Brisbane Lions amid personal issues, was not present at the race. Trainer Miller and former trainer Hayden Ballantyne praised the horse’s potential for improvement.
