Harvey Elliott is likely to remain on loan at Aston Villa after manager Unai Emery opted not to make his transfer from Liverpool permanent. With injuries affecting key players, Elliott has recently returned to action, featuring in two consecutive matches after a period of limited play. He is just three appearances away from triggering a £35m transfer clause, having initially joined Villa on loan in the summer. Despite previous sidelining, he played the full match in the Europa League and came on as a substitute against Brentford.
