On Monday, Egyptians will vote in the first phase of electing a new House of Representatives, following expatriate voting on November 7-8. This election is significant as it marks the final elections during President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi’s third term, amidst rising economic concerns among voters. The House has 596 members, with a quarter required to be women, and results will be announced in phases throughout December. Analysts suggest this parliament will influence Egypt’s future post-2030 amid ongoing constitutional discussions.
