Education Dept. threatens Columbia University’s accreditation

Education Secretary Linda McMahon emphasized that the university’s leadership showed “deliberate indifference” towards Jewish students’ harassment, which could lead to a loss of eligibility for federal financial aid. Columbia acknowledged the concerns but asserts its commitment to combatting antisemitism and is working with its accreditor to address the issues.
