ED seizes gold worth Rs 800 crore from biz-man close to Dr Sandeep Ghosh

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) seized Rs 8 crore worth of gold from a businessman connected to Dr. Sandip Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, who is in CBI custody for the rape and murder of a junior doctor in Kolkata. The CBI has also charged Dr. Ghosh with financial irregularities at the hospital. Sources in ED picked up the businessman from his Salt Lake home, indicating a potential link to the ongoing investigation.
