Trump loyalist Ed Martin has stepped down as leader of the DOJ’s “weaponization” effort, which investigates prosecutors involved in cases against Trump and his allies. Although he is no longer heading the group, a DOJ spokesperson confirmed he continues to serve as pardon attorney.
