EcoFest aims to encourage environmental awareness

People are encouraged to adopt sustainable practices during EcoFest 2025, with over 200 events citywide, including activities in east Auckland by the Beautification Trust. The festival aims to inspire sustainable practices, foster a love for nature, and raise environmental awareness through workshops, open gardens, repair cafes, and environmental action days from March 22 to April 22. EcoFest empowers and connects communities, offering hope and proactive responses to global environmental challenges, with events like the Pollinator Discovery Trail, Team Up 2 Clean Up, and EcoFest Whanau Fun Day.
