The New Zealand Government is set to announce new regulations that will nearly triple the number of concerts permitted at Auckland’s Eden Park stadium each year. Under the new rules, the venue can host up to 12 large concerts and 20 medium-sized concerts annually without needing resource consent, a significant increase from the current limitations. Additionally, night-time sports events will be allowed any day, provided they conclude by 10:30 PM, facilitating potential future matches like the State of Origin.
