An E. coli outbreak linked to organic carrots from Grimmway Farms has resulted in at least 15 hospitalizations and one death across multiple states. A total of 39 cases have been reported, with the majority in Washington, Minnesota, and New York. The CDC has issued a recall for baby and whole organic carrots from various brands with best-if-used-by dates between Sept. 11 and Nov. 12, advising consumers to discard affected products immediately.
