Drug driver, 81, told police someone ‘slipped’ cocaine into his birthday lemonade

An 81-year-old man, Arthur Ball, was disqualified from driving after being found over three times the legal limit for cocaine while returning home from his birthday party. Despite claiming that someone slipped cocaine into his drink, he pleaded guilty to drug driving, resulting in a £120 fine, a one-year driving ban, and additional costs.
