Drua dig deep to keep the Waratahs winless away in 2025

The NSW Waratahs faced a disheartening 28-14 loss to the Fijian Drua in Lautoka, marking their ninth consecutive away defeat, a record low since 1996-97. Despite a promising win against the Chiefs, the Waratahs struggled physically, conceding significant possession and territory, and were hampered by injuries to key players, including skipper Jake Gordon. Although they mounted a second-half comeback, they ultimately fell short, missing a bonus point after a late penalty try, leaving them at risk of falling out of the top eight during their upcoming bye week.
