Drifting SpaceX rocket may collide with the Moon

SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket upper stage, which was used to launch the Firefly Blue Ghost-1 lunar lander on January 15, 2025, is projected to collide with the Moon on August 5, 2026. This event will occur near the Einstein and Bell craters at the Moon’s western edge.
